As notified, a total of 462 vacancies for Assistant in ICAR Headquarters and ICAR Institutes has been released by ICAR Indian Agriculture Research Institute to be recruited at various ICAR IARI Centre across the country. ICAR IARI Assistant 2022 Online Application

Step-5 Start filling in the details required and attach the documents in the prescribed size.

Step-7 Click on the “Final Submit” button only after you are sure about the details filled are correct.

Step-8 Take a printout of the ICAR online application form for future reference.

Pre-Requisites of ICAR IARI Application Form

1. The permissible size of the photograph must be 200 x 230 pixels (50kb - 80kb) in jpg/jpeg format. (Image should not be older than 3 weeks). 

2. Signature- 140 x 60 pixels, size between 10kb–30kb in jpg/jpeg format

3. Scanned documents should be of size 50kb – 1000kb

Documents required for applying for ICAR IARI Recruitment 2022

The candidates must keep the following documents read when filling the IARI Assistant Recruitment 2022.

1. Notification for Assistant Examination-2022.
2. Name (as recorded in Matriculation Certificate).
3. Father’s name (as recorded in Matriculation certificate).
4. His/Her Caste/Category certificate (for SC/ST/PwBD/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates)
5. PwBD Certificate
6. Ex-Servicemen certificate

ICAR IARI Recruitment 2022 Application Fee

The candidates seeking admission to the examination must pay the ICAR IARI application fee which includes both the examination fee and registration fee. The application fee for filling ICAR Recruitment 2022 Application form is as follows, which is to be paid online through debit/credit/net banking/wallets.

IARI Assistant 2022 Selection Process

The eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of the three-stage selection process Prelims-Mains-Skill Test conducted by the exam authority for which the syllabus & exam pattern has been provided below. The candidates shortlisted through Prelims & Mains will be called for a Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test).

The minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary & Mains Examinations will not be less than as follows:

1. UR : 30%
2. OBC/ EWS : 25%
3. SC/ST/Divyang : 20%

Note- Merit list will be prepared on the basis of overall performance of candidates in Paper – I, Paper-II of the Mains Examinations

ICAR IARI Assistant 2022 Exam Pattern

The authorities will conduct two written tests (Prelims & Mains) and candidates have to qualify in each exam to get shortlisted for the skill test. Have a look at the IARI Exam Pattern, marking scheme, and time duration for each stage from the below section.

ICAR IARI Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2022

1. There will be 100 MCQ in IARI Assistant Prelims Exam for 2 marks each.
2. There will be a negative marking for 1/3rd mark for each incorrect answer.
3. Each section consists of 25 questions.
4. The duration of completing the prelims exam is 1 hour and for scribe candidates, the duration is 1 hour 20 minutes.

ICAR IARI Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2022

1. IARI Assistant Mains Exam consists of Paper-I will be objective type and Paper-II will be descriptive.
2. The time duration for Paper-1 is 2 hours and for Paper-II duration is 1 hour.
3. In the descriptive paper, there would be questions related to the writing of the essay, precis, letter, applications etc.

ICAR IARI Assistant Skill Test

The candidates who qualify in the Prelims & mains exam will have to appear in IARI Assistant Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test). The duration of the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) will be 15 minutes and modules will be conducted one after each other. IARI Assistant Skill Test is qualifying in nature. They have to appear for a Computer Proficiency Test which includes three modules- Word Processing, SpreadSheet, and Generation of Slides.

ICAR IARI Assistant Salary 2022

The selected candidates will have to undergo one-year on-the-job training. As mentioned in ICAR IARI Notification, the candidatures selected for the post of Assistant in the Indian Agriculture Research Institute will be salaried as per the department. The salary will be framed as per the 7th CPC.

ICAR IARI Recruitment 2022 Admit Card

Indian Agricultural Research Institute will be releasing ICAR IARI Result for the candidates who have appeared in the written test for 462 Assistant posts. The ICAR IARI 2022 Result is expected to be released within 1 month period.
